1. Who are the classes suitable for?
Our classes are suitable for first-time parents, experienced parents looking for a refresher, and anyone seeking additional support during pregnancy and early parenthood.
2. When should I book an antenatal class?
We recommend booking an antenatal class between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy to give you plenty of time to prepare.
3. What do the antenatal classes cover?
Our antenatal classes cover topics like packing your hospital bag, labour signs and symptoms, pain relief options, labour positions, stages of labour, delayed cord clamping, and the golden hour after birth.
4. What do the postnatal classes include?
Our postnatal classes teach baby care essentials such as bathing, nappy changing, breastfeeding, winding, neonatal life support, and how to care for yourself post-birth.
5. Can my birth partner attend the classes?
Yes, birth partners are encouraged to join. They play a key role in supporting you during labour and beyond.
6. Are the classes in a group or one-to-one?
We offer both group classes and private one-to-one sessions. Private classes can be tailored to your needs and delivered in the comfort of your own home.
7. What if I need to reschedule my booking?
We understand that plans can change. Bookings can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. Payments are non-refundable but can be transferred to a new date.
8. How long are the classes?
Group antenatal and postnatal classes typically last 2–3 hours. Private one-to-one sessions are more flexible and tailored to your schedule.
9. Do I need to bring anything to the classes?
For group classes, just bring yourself and your questions! For one-to-one sessions, we may provide a list of recommended items based on your chosen topics.
10. How do I book a class?
You can book through our website by completing the booking form and submitting payment. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details.
11. What happens if my baby arrives before the class?
If your baby arrives early, we’ll work with you to transition your antenatal booking to postnatal support or reschedule as appropriate.
12. What is included in the private one-to-one classes?
Private sessions combine the content of both antenatal and postnatal classes and are tailored to your needs. They include focused support in the comfort of your own home.
13. Are the classes fun and interactive?
Absolutely! Our classes are designed to be engaging, informative, and enjoyable, providing plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practice skills.
